Appearance: 5'10", auburn hair and blue eyes. At this time in his life, his hair is about jaw-length, and he wears a full beard. He dresses in white Jedi robes with a brown cloak, brown leather boots and a brown leather belt, which holds his equipment, including the famous Jedi lightsaber.
History: Obi-Wan Kenobi was born on the Republic world of Stewjon in 57 BBY. Like most children with a strong Force sensitivity, he was taken to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant in infancy. It was during his early studies there that he met Siri Tachi, with whom he developed a somewhat tumultuous lifelong friendship, complicated by her headstrong attitude and her tendency to question the Council's wisdom, as well as their attraction to each other, which they resisted because of their commitment to the Order. If they chose each other against the Code, they would have been expelled from the Jedi. For both of them, serving the Republic as a Knight was what they believed to be the highest calling.
Though he started out the somewhat unwanted Padawan learner of Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi would eventually become one of the most venerable Jedi Knights in the galaxy. At the age of 25, nearing the end of his apprenticeship, Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon faced a Sith Lord in battle for the first time in a thousand years. Qui-Gon fell in the battle, but Obi-Wan was able to defeat the Sith, returning to Qui-Gon's side in time to see the elder Jedi - his mentor - die in his arms. With that dying breath, Qui-Gon asked Obi-Wan to promise to train young Anakin Skywalker, a slave boy strong in the Force that Qui-Gon had freed on Tatooine and whom he had vowed to train against the Council's ruling that he was far too old to begin training as a Jedi Knight. Obi-Wan promised, and, on Qui-Gon's death, a Knighthood was conferred on him. At that moment, he told Yoda of his intention to train Skywalker. The Council still did not agree with the training of the boy, but Obi-Wan insisted that he had promised Qui-Gon and that he would train Skywalker, regardless of the Council's ruling. The Council agreed reluctantly, accepting that if the boy was to be trained, it should happen under their supervision and direction. Anakin then became Obi-Wan's apprentice. The next ten years were spent training Anakin in the ways of the Force. Anakin's training upset people at the Temple, and Obi-Wan and Anakin met some resistance in their work. Snobbery exists everywhere. But Anakin was also rumoured to be the mythical Chosen One, said to be the one who would bring balance to the Force. He soon proved himself powerful in the Force, but his stubborn personality and his tendency to attachment - forbidden for the Jedi - made him butt heads with Obi-Wan frequently. Despite their seeming incompatability, Obi-Wan and Anakin formed a strong fraternal bond that lasted past the end of Anakin's apprenticeship. At the point of entry, Anakin had just embarked on his first solo assignment, which Obi-Wan did not believe him ready for. Obi-Wan, for his part, continued to investigate the assassination attempt on Senator Amidala by consulting his old friend Dexter Jettster. It was on exiting Dex's Diner that he found himself in the Land of Make Believe.
Previous Game History, IF APPLICABLE: In MB, Obi-Wan discovered the truth about their future and the future of the galaxy, including Anakin's Fall and what he would do as Darth Vader. He also eventually learned that Siri Tachi was killed in action early in the war. The combination of these things and the distance of the Order in that place allowed him to explore living in a 'normal' way and, in time, he succumbed to his lifelong feelings of attachment to Siri to start a relationship with her.
The relationship was a difficult emotional leap for Obi-Wan and he frequently had to turn to both Mara and Anakin for advice. He still feels as though he's contravening the rules of the Jedi, and as a particularly Code-adhering member of the Order, it's been more difficult for him to adapt to the idea that the Code as they were taught it is wrong and that he can feel strong personal attachments openly without fearing a Fall. The absence of other strict Old Order Jedi has allowed him the freedom to explore these ideas without feeling as pressured as he might with their viewpoint pressed upon him.
Obi-Wan did cultivate a few other relationships in the Land of Make Believe. He formed a friendship with Joan Watson, going so far as getting her a job at the police station. He had few other friends there. His colleagues, for the most part, found him odd and detached.
The final thing he had to deal with in LoMB was learning about Earth holidays and how to celebrate them appropriately. He always took them very seriously, even though he rarely understood them well. He looked to tradition and advice from others to find out what role he was supposed to play, especially in regards to his young apprentice and ward, the child version of Anakin Skywalker.
Personality: (200 words minimum)
Uncertain in his early years as he found himself chosen late to train as a Knight and feeling almost unwanted as a pupil even then, Obi-Wan Kenobi would become a master of the Force, determined to do what is right; he represents the Jedi Order well. He has, in fact, the perfect temperament to be a Jedi Knight. Though considered by many to be one of the finest swordsman in the Jedi Order and the first in a thousand years to defeat a Sith Lord in battle, he would never say so of himself. Humble almost to a fault, it is truly his honour to live a life of service to the Republic and the Jedi Order. One of the Order's most prolific swordsman - Mace Windu - referred to him as THE master of Form III lightsaber technique, a compliment that Obi-Wan was reluctant to accept, despite the truth in it. The prologue of one of the novels describes him as "A phenomenal Jedi Pilot who doesn't like to fly. A devastating warrior who'd rather not fight. A negotiator without peer who frankly prefers to sit alone in a quiet cave and meditate." It's this temperament - as well as the deep devotion both held to the Order - that allowed him and Jedi Knight Siri Tachi to resist the mutual attraction that they felt for each other until the weight of the future forced them to consider other possibilities.
Obi-Wan is still a very formal and orderly person who still finds it difficult to reconcile his decision to persue a traditional romantic relationship with his teachings as a Jedi. He's still afraid that the emotions involved are dangerous and can lead to a Fall. He's turned to Anakin and Mara Jade as his confidantes about dealing with emotions in Land of Make Believe. At the same time, he finds the relationship exhilarating and exciting.
Special facts/special abilities about your character: He has all of the powers associated with a Jedi's use of the Force, including being able to jump high, to sense people around him and their emotional states, use of a lightsaber, Force persuasion and others.
What is arriving with your character? Just his robes, his lightsaber and small equipment that might be on his belt, like rations pellets and his rebreather.

3. First or Third person Sample: Obi-Wan looked around, smoothing a hand down over his robes. He had been wearing the robes that Siri gave him for Valentine's Day when everything changed. They didn't disappear or change into those he'd been wearing when he arrived at the Land of Make Believe. And, of course, he could feel the comforting weight of his lightsaber.
"Siri?" he called. "Anakin?" He reached out, looking for them in the Force.

Luke just got into the "I'm having the same problem you did with Anakin, with his grandson " stuff. Idk how much Mara told Obi...if he knows what Jacen did and wants to say it, fine, if not or she didn't tell him, that's fine too.
